Live! Hotel & Casino has been awarded Philadelphia’s second casino license.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board awarded the license on Tuesday. a project that is joint Cordish Companies and Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment Inc., which owns the Parx Casino in Bensalem, the proposed 200,000-square-foot casino will host 220 resort rooms, have 2,000 slots and 125 dining table games regarding the casino flooring, and will cost $425 million to create.
The developers propose to place the casino on A holiday that is existing inn the stadium district of Southern Philadelphia.
Making the announcement to a loaded home during the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Control Board praised the ‘the synergy between gambling and activity at a casino’ that the project proposed, adding that the proximity towards the stadium had been a factor that is deciding.
